Dr. Nick Pandelidis, the Vice-President of D4PC's Pennsylvania chapter and health care policy director for the Pennsylvania Coalition for Responsible Government, has posed an important question about why Pennsylvania's new Governor, Tom Corbett, is seeking to implement ObamaCare through the creation of ObamaCare insurance exchanges. While many states have rejected the creation of the exchanges, Corbett has decided to push the exchange in his state.
Dr. Pandelidis article points out the following: "Initiating the exchanges facilitates the entire Obamacare catastrophe: the individual mandate, the loss of physician and patient medical-decision making, tens of thousands of pages of regulation controlling every aspect of health care and the creation of massive new federal bureaucracy. Incredibly, it was Gov. Corbett, as attorney general, who brought a lawsuit against the federal government on behalf of the commonwealth. Yet his plan to move ahead with the exchange undermines this case that now has moved to the Supreme Court."
