Obamacare at One: Confusion, Uncertainty & Concern About the Future Of Healthcare

Monday, March 21, 2011

Washington, DC -- Docs4PatientCare, an organization of concerned physicians committed to the establishment of a health care system that preserves the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship today, on the one year anniversary of the House of Representatives passage of ObamaCare, issued statements from its leaders.

In various statements, the organization's leaders said:

"One year after the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), there is nothing but confusion, uncertainty and concern regarding the future of healthcare in America.

Instead of establishing a framework by which healthcare could become more accessible and more affordable for most Americans, it has created havoc and turmoil and threatens to take down what most people consider to be the finest healthcare environment in the history of the planet.

The ACA is an example of politics and cronyism at its worst, and justifies the continued ire of those Americans who have been paying attention and understand the implications of this law."

- Hal Scherz, MD, Founder and President, Docs4PatientCare

"Monday marks the one year anniversary of the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Law.

This is the most fiscally irresponsible piece of social legislation that has been passed in America. As the details continue to become available, it is apparent to all Americans that this misguided hyper-partisan effort was orchestrated in secret by an ideological elite intent on controlling the entire United States health care economy.

Americans and their physicians must unite to repeal this law and replace it with common sense, patient and physician centric solutions that address the root causes of the problems with our health care delivery systems."

- Richard Armstrong, MD, Executive Board Member, Docs4PatientCare

Docs4PatientCare is a 501(c) 6 organization of concerned physicians committed to the establishment of a health care system that preserves the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship, promotes quality of care, supports affordable access to all Americans, and protects patients' personal health care decisions. Docs4PatientCare urges physicians and patients to get involved in order to preserve the good qualities of our healthcare system, address the problems, while preventing its bureaucratic destruction.
