ObamaCare: Stalling America's Economic Engine

Wednesday, December 14, 2011

Former United State Senator George Allen (R-VA) has an opinion piece in The Washington Times detailing ObamaCare's negative impact on the economy. Allen makes the case the ObamaCare's taxes and regulatory burden are a drain on job creators and are hurting small businesses, who are usually a critical driver in recovering from economic downturns, the most.

Allen is not simply for repeal of ObamaCare, he proposes an important set of reforms to make America's health care system work better.  Allen writes: "It is crucial that a Congress be elected that will repeal Obamacare and replace it with more personal, quality, cost-effective reforms that make health care more accessible, including options for personalized Health Savings Accounts, and for businesses to obtain lower-cost coverage by joining together with other small businesses to form large insurance risk pools."
